Child Care Provider – Private Home
Calgary, Alberta (T2N 2A8)
Permanent, Full-Time (30–40 hours/week)
$20.00–$25.00 per hour
About the Family
We are a friendly and caring family in northwest Calgary with two young children — a 2-year-old and a 9-month-old. Our home is fun, active, and welcoming. We value kindness, patience, respect, creativity, and outdoor play. We are looking for someone positive and responsible who enjoys helping children learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and care for infants and toddlers
Change diapers and assist with toilet learning
Prepare bottles and help with feeding
Plan play-based learning (crafts, music, outdoor play, books)
Organize naps and daily routines
Prepare healthy snacks and meals for children
Keep children’s spaces clean and tidy
Light household tasks related to the children
Assist with short outings or appointments when needed
Communicate daily activities with parents
Qualifications
1 year of childcare experience (paid or volunteer)
Secondary school completion
CPR/First Aid in Child Care (or willingness to obtain)
Criminal record check required
Experience caring for more than one child is an asset
Background in early childhood education or psychology is an asset

Work takes place in employer’s private home
On-site only (not remote)
Optional room and board available

Must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Active, hands-on work with infants and toddlers
Wage & Benefits
$20.00/hour caring for one child
$25.00/hour caring for both children
Minimum 30 hours/week (up to 40)
Night shift premium available ($150 when applicable)
On-site free parking
