The Barrhead Inn & Suits is seeking to hire Hotel Managing Supervisor to join our team at 5905 – 49 Street, Barrhead, AB, T7N 1A6. All candidates must be willing to join a team environment to strengthen and grow our current crew with a positive attitude and character.

We offer:

·         Wage: $25.00 per hour

·         Hours per week: 30-40 hours per week

Work setting: Hotel

Responsibilities and Duties:

·         Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure smooth service and adherence to hotel standards.

·         Establish work procedures, schedule, assign, review duties and assist with tasks as needed.

·         Recruit, train and provide support on job responsibilities, safety procedures and hotel policies.

·         Monitor room availability, occupancy and operational needs to support guest satisfaction and revenue.

·         Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, safety and maintenance standards are met.

·         Handle guest inquiries, concerns, complaints and special requests in a professional and timely manner.

·         Resolve operational issues, provide guidance to staff and recommend measures to improve productivity and service quality.

·         Maintain equipment, systems and supplies, arrange repairs and requisition materials to ensure smooth operations.

·         Prepare and submit reports and perform administrative tasks to support management decisions.

Qualifications and Skills:

·         Must be able to communicate in English

·         Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

·         1 year to less than 2 years of related work experience

·         Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail; Standing for extended periods; Tight deadlines; Work under pressure
