Position Overview:
As a Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store. Your role will involve managing and leading a team of retail associates, ensuring a positive customer experience, and implementing strategies to optimize sales and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have a strong background in retail operations, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of retail associates, providing guidance and support.
Ensure the smooth operation of the retail store, including opening and closing procedures.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring product availability for customers.
Train and develop retail staff on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.
Implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed store targets.
Foster a positive and customer-focused environment within the store.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with management to implement merchandising and promotional displays.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
One or two-year diploma in management; additional education in business or retail management is a plus.
Proven experience in a retail supervisory or management role.
Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and sales techniques.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of POS systems and retail management software.
