1225461 Alberta Ltd. o/a RiverValley Custom Homes is looking to hire a General Construction Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our existing crew and demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, reliability, and professional character.

We offer:

Specific Skills:

·         Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of tradespeople and subcontractors.

·         Develop efficient work methods and practices to ensure projects remain on schedule.

·         Address day-to-day construction issues and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and workmanship.

·         Coordinate construction activities and project requirements with subcontractors.

·         Determine material and labour requirements and ensure the timely procurement and delivery of construction materials, equipment, and supplies.

·         Recommend personnel actions based on project requirements and operational needs.

·         Provide guidance and on-the-job training to workers and arrange additional training as required.

·         Prepare progress updates, production records, and other construction-related reports.

·         Monitor job sites to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, company policies, and construction standards.

·         Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to coordinate work and resolve site-related issues.

·         Visit project sites and conduct inspections of construction work, equipment, and materials at various stages of the project, coordinating corrective actions where required.

·         Prepare or assist with project schedules, cost estimates, budgets, and construction plans.

·         Monitor project progress and coordinate activities to maintain established timelines.

·         Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and other parties involved in the construction process.

·         Process project documentation and maintain accurate records for multiple project sites as required.

·         Travel to project sites as required to supervise work, conduct inspections, and coordinate construction activities.

Qualifications:

·         Must be able to communicate in English

·         Related Bachelors degree education

·         2 years to less than 3 years of experience
