Responsibilities

Tasks Include:

• Operate cash register

• Process payments (cash, cheques, credit/debit)

• Scan items and tabulate totals

• Receive and reconcile payments

• Suggestive selling

• Stock shelves and clean counter area

• Greet customers

• Accept take-out orders and reservations

• Weigh produce and bulk food

• Assist with self-checkout

• Verify customer age for restricted products

• Monitor entrances/exits

• Provide customer service

• Assist theatre patrons with seating

• Calculate foreign currency exchange

• Attend to hotel safety deposit boxes

• Participate in store promotions
