Job Description
We are seeking a responsible, caring, and reliable Home Child Care Provider to provide high-quality childcare in our private home. The successful candidate will ensure the safety, well-being, and healthy development of our children while supporting daily routines and activities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise and care for children in the employer’s home
- Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Organize age-appropriate activities such as games and outings
- Support the emotional well-being of children
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to childcare
Requirements:
Language:
English
Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years of relevant childcare experience
Work Setting:
- Employer’s home
- Work must be completed on site (no remote work option available)
Security and Safety:
Criminal record check required
Accommodation:
Optional accommodation is available at no charge if the caregiver chooses to stay in the employer’s home. This is not a condition of employment, and the caregiver is not required to live in the employer’s home to accept or continue in this position.
