Job Overview

Wok Box in Saint John, NB is hiring a Kitchen Helper to support kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness. The successful candidate will be responsible for dishwashing, food preparation, and general kitchen duties in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen items such as mats, carts, and disposal units.
• Wash dishes by hand or using equipment and place them in storage areas.
• Portion and wrap foods as required.
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, cupboards, appliances, and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• Load buspans and trays.

Education & Experience

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience.
