Job Overview

A private household in Leduc, AB is seeking a compassionate Live-in Caregiver for Persons with Disabilities. The successful candidate will provide personal care, companionship, and daily living support to the client. Optional live-in accommodation is available at no charge, though it is not a condition of employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and first aid in emergencies.
• Assist with bathing, hygiene, and personal care.
• Support clients with regular exercise, including walking or swimming.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and therapeutic diets.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.

Education & Experience

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant caregiving experience.

Security & Safety Requirements

• Criminal record check.
• Child welfare check.
• Vulnerable sector check.
