Position/Business Title: Senior Java Developer
Reporting to: Manager, Development Operations / Manager, Execution & Delivery

Job/Position Summary:
The Senior Java developer, in working independently or within a team, develops web applications and functionalities required by the business. The senior developer will be working closely with the Project Team and the Team lead to understand requirements, providing effort estimates, developing logic and execution on various tasks required within the project as well as for support.
Organizational Status:
The senior developer will be working closely within a team and obtaining direction from the team leads or the project team, to develop and support within various applications.
Responsibilities Include:
- Technical coding and development of backend systems
- Use best business logic to develop solutions concerning technical deployment and database development
- Interact with Project Management Team to determine and understand business requirements & provide solutions with accurate estimated effort
- Work with cross-functional teams to analyze/resolve technical problems and solutions
- Maintain and append to technical and functional documentation
- Research and evaluation of various technologies to meet business requirements
- Work independently and self-manage development projects
- Follow defined development standards
- Perform code testing & debugging prior to provisioning of QA
- Interact with Quality Assurance team to resolve application issues
- Education/Work Experience:
- A Degree or Diploma in the Computer Science Discipline.
- Minimum 8 or more years of experience in web application development & SDLC
Skills:
- Hands on knowledge on Java
- Experienced building Microservices
- Understanding of how streaming technologies work such as Kafka.
- In-depth knowledge of popular Java frameworks like Struts, Play, JSF, and Spring MVC
- Familiar with SQL or NoSQL databases like MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Creating Web Services and RESTful services with Web API
- Good knowledge of design patterns like DAO and DTO
- Developed applications using multithreading, Serialization, Externalization and collections
- Used spring Boot actuator for app monitoring
- Strong understanding of API techs like OATH,SAML,
- Testing Tools : – JUnit
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $95,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
