Job Overview

FiscalX Professional Corporation, an established accounting firm in Scarborough, ON, is seeking skilled Tax Accountants. The role involves preparing financial statements, income tax returns, and providing tax advisory services. Successful candidates will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with governing legislation while supporting clients with financial and business advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Conduct field audits to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Prepare and file income tax returns from accounting records.
• Review and examine financial services and institutions for compliance.
• Maintain accurate accounting records.
• Provide financial, business, and tax advisory services.
• Balance accounts using manual and computerized systems.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation, or equivalent experience.
• 2 to less than 3 years of related experience.

Technical Knowledge

• Proficiency with CANTAX, QuickBooks, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).

Additional Requirements

• Criminal record check required.
• Access to own vehicle or public transportation.
