General Labourer – manufacturing Full Time

4 General Labourer positions available (4 vacancies). Starts as soon as possible.

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required

Experience: Experience an asset

On-site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work setting: Lumber/forestry industry

Duties/Tasks: Transport items throughout plant using powered equipment. Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually. Check and weigh materials and products. Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products. Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers. Perform other labouring and elemental activities. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Operate various vehicles and equipment. Light cleaning duties. Load and unload goods. Assist machine operators or assemblers in manufacturing process. Load, move, sort and pile materials and supplies.

Experience and Specialization
– Documentation knowledge: Bill of lading
– Sculpting, engraving and mold making medium: Wood

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye coordination. Standing for extended periods.

Weight handling: Up to and more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
