Looking for an English-speaking in-home caregiver for a bedridden male senior.
Successful candidate must have at least 1 year of relevant work experience as a caregiver.
Work setting: In-home. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
PSW, RPN or similar designation an asset.
Tasks include:
Administer bedside and personal care, assisting with daily tasks
Administer medications
Assist with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Assist in regular exercise
Feed or assist in feeding
Launder clothing and household linens
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Assist in meal preparation
Candidate suitability: Punctual, dependable, efficient, strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral
communication, good judgement, good hygiene, well organized, reliable, patient, honest.
Some lifting and moving of senior required.
