Nanny Full Time NEW

In-Home Caregiver/Nanny needed for our family of 3 children, ages 5, 2 and a baby. $20.85-$23.00 per hour for a 30 hour work week, salary depends on experience. Overtime may be required from 45-48 hours and paid at 1.5 x per hour. Two days off per week on Saturday & Sunday. 6 months of relevant professional childcare experience required. Minimum equivalent Canadian High School diploma required. Job hours are 8:00am-4:00. Mid-day break. Job located in Midtown, Toronto, ON. (Avenue&Eglinton). English language spoken and written, required. Work to take place in employer’s home.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervise and care for children in employer’s residence.
• Bathe, dress, plan, cook meals and feed children.
• Light housekeeping for children.
• Oversee children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed.
• Diapering and toilet training for the 2 year old and baby.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene.
• Tend to the emotional wellbeing of children and support their social development.
• Discipline children according to the methods requested.
• Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading, playdates and outings. Accompany to school, appointments and outings.

Good communication and decision-making skills are essential.
