We offer:

·         Wage: $20.00 / Hour

·         Work Schedule : 30-44 Hours / Week

·         Vacancies: 5

Terms of employment:

·         Permanent, Full time

·         Job start date: As soon as possible

·         Employment conditions: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours

·         Work location: 6007 – 49 Street, Barrhead, AB, T7N 1A5. Work is performed on-site only. No remote work option.

Work Setting: Restaurant

Specific Skills:

·         Supervise shift operations to deliver product fast and provide quality customer service

·         Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food

·         Oversee and verify the assembly of trays for accuracy and quality standards

·         Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures

·         Ensures that food and service meet quality control standards

·         Establish methods to meet work schedules

·         Daily food safety checks and cash controls

·         Ensure customer satisfaction, resolve customer complaints as well as internal conflict among staff

·         Inspect kitchen, dining areas, kitchen utensils and equipment to ensure sanitary standards are met

·         Inspect restaurant grounds and equipment to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met

·         Recommend, arrange and plan maintenance and emergency repair of the equipment

·         Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines

·         Estimate and order ingredients and supplies

·         Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

·         Prepare and submit reports

·         Perform duties as workers supervised when required.

Qualifications:

·         Must be able to communicate in English

·         Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

·         1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience

·         Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Walking, Physically demanding

·         Ability to Supervise: 3-4, 5-10 people

·         Personal Suitability: Flexibility, Excellent oral communication, Team player, Client focus, Effective interpersonal skills.
