Job Overview

UNIWAY COMPUTERS is seeking a skilled Computer Technician to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and user assistance in Saskatoon, SK. The successful candidate will handle a variety of IT tasks, from solving user issues to supervising support staff, ensuring smooth operations of computer systems, networks, and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to users experiencing computer-related issues.
• Research and implement solutions using technical manuals and documentation.
• Provide training and advice to users.
• Maintain a log of problems and solutions for team reference.
• Supervise other technical support workers.
• Deliver business systems, network, and internet support.
• Offer excellent customer service.

Education & Experience

• College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
• Fields of study: Computer Programming, Computer Science, Network/System Administration.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.

Technical Knowledge

• Proficiency with MAC, Windows, and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of networking software, hardware, and security.
• Experience with servers, intranet, and wireless networks.
• Familiarity with MS Active Directory, device drivers, and security software.
• Understanding of project management and file management software.

Additional Information

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license.

• Manual dexterity, bending, crouching, kneeling.
• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
