Cook – NOC 63200 Full Time

Grand Forks Inn, located in Grand Forks, British Colombia, requires an experienced full-time Cook. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Experience and Skills Required: At least 1 – 2 years experience in the field

Work Conditions : Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, engage in physically demanding repetitive tasks and work under pressure.

Personal Suitability : It is essential for candidates to be dependable, flexible, organized, reliable and the team player with good judgment.

Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate completion is required

Language : English

Job Duties: Determine the size of food portions and costs; Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization; Requisition food and kitchen supplies; Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods; Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances; Inspect kitchens and food service areas; Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food; Order supplies and equipment; Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment; Clean kitchen and work areas;

Wages: Starting at $18.25 per hour; working 40 hours per week (mornings, day, evening, night, weekend).
