Chiba Sushi is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position in a fast-paced restaurant setting located in an urban area away from downtown. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work under pressure with Japanese cuisine experience and a commitment to quality food preparation and kitchen operations.
Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Food safe level 1
Experience
3-5 years kitchen experience ideally
Japanese cuisine experience 1-2 years
Compensation: $26/hr
On site @ 2583 Caboro Bay Rd, Victoria, BC
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work
remotely.

Prepare & cook complete meals or individual dishes & foods
Inspect kitchens & food service areas
Train staffs in preparation, cooking & handling of food
Order supplies & equipment
Maintain inventory & records of food, supplies & equipment
Clean kitchen & work areas
Manage kitchen operations
Help cut sashimi and make sushi when needed
