Our services include personal care assistance, mobility support, medication support, monitoring of clients’ well-being, and specialized care for seniors living with age-related or chronic health conditions, including dementia, post-stroke needs and diabetes.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Nurse Aide (NOC 33102) to join our care team and provide basic patient care, personal assistance and health-related support to senior clients.

Job Descriptions

Job Title: Nurse Aide (NOC 33102)
Salary: $22.31 hourly
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Language: English & French. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English and French with clients, including understanding care needs, providing instructions and communicating information related to daily care.
Work location: Calgary, AB
Start date: As soon as possible

Job Duties
Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming and other basic patient care.
Take and record clients’ blood pressure, temperature and pulse.
Observe and monitor clients’ physical condition and report changes to appropriate health care personnel.
Assist clients with feeding and hydration as required.
Weigh, lift, turn and position clients safely.
Assist clients with prescribed mobility and exercise routines.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and clients’ condition.
Assist with medication routines in accordance with established care plans and within the scope of the position.
Maintain clients’ immediate care environment and related medical/personal care supplies.
Accompany and safely transport clients when required.
Provide first aid in emergency situations within the scope of training.
Perform other basic patient care and comfort duties as directed by appropriate health care personnel.

Minimum of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
