Restaurant Manager – NOC 60030 Full Time NEW

Pradera Natural Mexican Products o/a Tres Marias Mexican Food, located in Calgary, Alberta, requires an experienced full-time Restaurant Manager. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Experience and Skills Required: 3 years to less than 5 years’ experience in the field

Work Conditions : Candidates must be able to handle a large workload in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, engaging in repetitive tasks with attention to detail. Also involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.

Work Setting : Urban area; Willing to relocate; Relocation costs not covered by employer;

Personal Suitability : It is essential for candidates to be accurate, client focused, dependable, flexible, organized, reliable, team player, with ability to multitask, efficient interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce (general) is required

Certifications : First Aid, Food Safety and Safe Food Handling

Language : English

Asset Language : Spanish

Computer and technology knowledge : Accounting software; MS Excel; MS Office; MS Windows; MS Word; Point of sale system; Spreadsheet;

Job Duties: Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits; Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies; Evaluate daily operations; Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget; Monitor revenues to determine labour cost; Monitor staff performance; Plan and organize daily operations; Recruit staff; Set staff work schedules; Supervise staff; Train staff; Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms; Conduct performance reviews; Organize and maintain inventory; Ensure health and safety regulations are followed; Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies; Participate in marketing plans and implementation; Leading/instructing individuals; Address customers’ complaints or concerns; Provide customer service;

Supervision : More than 20 people

Budgetary responsibility : $ 0 – $100,000

Wages: Starting at $37.50 per hour; working 35 hours per week (Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime available).
