Position: Food Counter Attendant

Terms of employment: Full-time and permanent position

Location of work: Camrose, Alberta.

Wage: $15.50/hr.

Duties and responsibilities:

·         Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service to enhance their dining experience

·         Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring efficient transaction processing

·         Handle food preparation and serving duties in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards

·         Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy and integrity

·         Assist with food presentation, refilling stations, and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas

·         Upsell menu items to increase sales while ensuring guest satisfaction

·         Maintain proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices throughout shifts

·         Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed

·         Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods

·         Provide guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction

Skills and Experience:

·         Must be legal to work in Canada

·         Some secondary school education is an asset but not required

·         Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided

·         Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided

·         Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting

·         Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor

·         Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing

·         Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures

·         Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a hospitality environment

·         Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous

·         Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing outstanding guest experiences
