Job Requirements:

-Minimum education: Secondary education
Experience

·       At least 1 year to less than 2 years of work as a cook or related field.

Duties:

·       Prepare and cook menu items, including gyros, wraps, rice bowls, salads, appetizers, and other Mediterranean-style dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards.

Prepare and marinate meats, chicken, vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients for daily food service.
Operate grills, ovens, deep fryers, stovetops, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Cook and assemble food orders according to customer requests and established portion sizes.
Ensure all food is prepared with consistent quality, taste, freshness, and presentation.
Monitor food temperatures and cooking times to ensure food safety and proper preparation.
·       Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen workstations, cooking equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas.

·       Follow proper food handling, storage, refrigeration, and food rotation procedures

·       Check inventory levels and inform management when ingredients and kitchen supplies need to be replenished.

·       Receive and store food deliveries while checking the quality and freshness of ingredients.

·       Minimize food waste and maintain proper portion control.

·       Assist with daily kitchen opening, closing, and cleaning procedures.

·       Follow all applicable food safety, health, and workplace safety regulations.

·       Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining food quality and timely order preparation.

·       Coordinate with kitchen staff, cashiers, and management to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

·       Assist with menu preparation and other kitchen duties as assigned by management.
