Handy Stone Ltd. produces stone for landscaping, house facings, retaining walls, fireplaces, floorings, and wall claddings. We supply stone for residential and commercial projects in Delta, BC. We are looking for an experienced corporate sales manager as our key management team member.
Job Title: Corporate Sales Manager (NOC 60010)
Work hours: 30-40 hours per week
Location: Delta, BC
Start date: As soon as possible

Salary$57.5 / hour
Responsibilities:
-Determine strategic planning related to new product lines.
-Establish organizational policies and procedures in relation to sales.
-Lead sales team in building relationships with business clients and manage negotiations of sales contracts.
-Plan, direct and evaluate the activities of sales departments.
-Determine merchandise and services to be sold.
-Manage staff and assign duties.
-Develop and implement marketing strategies.
-Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
-Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and effect of competitors’ operations on sales.
-Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
-Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
-Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages.
Job requirements
Education
-A minimum of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a one- to two-year program is required.
Experience
-At least three years of experience as a Corporate Sales Manager is required.
-Former leadership experience or managerial experience of a team is required.
Skills
-Proven ability to build customer relationships, expert at customer acquisition and growth.
-Strong understanding and interpretation of market trends, demand, and competitors.
-Ability to assign tasks, supervise staff, motivate performance and drive results.
-Good at budget planning and financial awareness (revenues, expenses,etc).
-Ability to solve problems such as customer complaints, supply shortages, etc.
-Ability to develop marketing, sales strategies and new product plans.
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing market.
-Insight of construction, materials industry.
-Can handle operational issues effectively.
-Professional in contract negotiation.
-Confident in decision-making.
