Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to join our team. As a Health Care Aide, you will provide essential care and support to clients in a home care setting. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, providing personal care, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
– Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
– Help patients with mobility and transfers
– Assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
– Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
– Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
– Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
– Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care
Skills:
– Previous experience in patient care or senior care is preferred
– Knowledge of memory care techniques is a plus
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients other Comfort Keepers Staff
– Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
– Excellent organizational skills to manage patient schedules and documentation
– Compassionate nature and empathy towards patients’ needs
– Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism
